In Bocca al Lupo, a serie of enchanted, interactive and musical tales.
The tales take the form of physical art installations created for public realm. Their raison d’être is to encourage interaction between passersby and strengthen the social fabric.
They can be found in significant locations, catching the eye of visitors, encouraging engagement and inviting a fresh look at the space and time we share collectively.
The name In Bocca al Lupo refers to the Italian expression for good luck, like break a leg or “merde.” Literally, it translates as “in the mouth of the wolf.”
Between the colourful mosaic walls of Ravenna, Italy, we tell the story of Lucia, a ballerina whose dreams of dancing around the world are dashed by a tragic accident. Touched by her fate, Giorgio, the lamplighter, together with the villagers, erects a unique structure offering her the chance to dance again and share the light of her art.
Standing atop her music box, feet pointed, she gracefully twirls, attracting the gazes of passersby.
Her elegance transforms the story of her adventures into thousands of magical moments for anyone willing to stop by.
